Yeah. I agree with the previous commenter. I love it when cats lick my feet. Dogs too. Well... pretty much anything with a tongue (except a snake).

And... agreed. Kittens licking feet is awesome. You're out on your own on this one, Christopher. (Keep up the cartooning, though.)

Ok, we need some context on this one. I don't have anything against cats licking toes PER SE. However, what annoys me is that, after a night of being locked out of our room (see "Things My Cat Does To Piss Me Off #1"), she is crazy toe-licker in the morning, and that is just NOT what I want when I am stumbling out of bed, bleary eyed and barely awake.

I damn near trip over her every morning because she runs between my feet and then flops in front of me. Then when I kick her out so I can clean up in the bathroom, she wails until I let her in, and then she lays there and tries to lick my toes when I am shaving (razor on neck NOT when I want kitty tongue on my feet) and then when I am "tending to my gasto-intestinal needs" (again, not when I want a cat licking my toes). So it's WHEN she does it, not so much the act of toe-licking itself. There's a time and a place, people.

Having reviewed behaviors 1-3, I wonder if your kitten was perhaps weaned too soon?

Get used to being surrogate parents (for which read surrogate nipples) for a while.

Purrl attends her emotional needs in very much the same manner as your cat. I take it as an opportunity to slow down, smell "the roses" as well as acting as a responsible and loving pet employee.
